Rebuilding Home Newsletter

Project Summary:
As a volunteer for Rebuilding Hope in Tacoma, WA, I designed a visually appealing and informative printed newsletter template. This template serves as a key communication tool, keeping members, donors, and the community updated on the latest news, events, and achievements of the organization. The design reflects the organization's branding and values, ensuring consistency and professionalism.

Objectives:

Create an Engaging Layout: Developed a layout that is both visually appealing and easy to read, enhancing the overall reader experience.

Reflect Organizational Branding: Ensured the design aligns with Rebuilding Hope's branding guidelines, incorporating appropriate colors, fonts, and logos.

Highlight Key Content Areas: Designed sections for regular features such as updates, upcoming events, volunteer spotlights, donor recognition, and success stories.

Facilitate Easy Updates: Provided a template that is easy to update and adapt for future editions, allowing the organization to maintain consistency without extensive design skills.

Key Deliverables:

Newsletter Template Design: A completed newsletter template in a format that can be easily edited using Canva for team members who are not proficient in design software.

Branding Consistency: The template included the organization's colors, fonts, and logos, maintaining a cohesive look with other organizational materials.

Editable Sections: Clear placeholders for text and images, with guidelines for content updates.

Print-Ready Files: Final files in print-ready format, ensuring high-quality printing results.

Volunteer Commitment:
This project was completed on a volunteer basis, dedicating an afternoon to complete the project.
